At Fortune Technologies, we are pleased to introduce Inspector Offline, a dedicated mobile application developed exclusively to support onboard inspection activities carried out by internal inspectors of a shipping company such as Superintendent Engineers performing VESSEL ATTENDANCE or PRE VETTING inspections.
Built using the capabilities of Microsoft Power Apps, Inspector Offline is designed with one clear purpose: to enable inspectors to carry out their assigned inspections seamlessly in environments where internet connectivity may be unavailable. The application can be installed on a mobile phone or tablet and operates strictly within its defined scope.
Inspector Offline allows the designated inspector to access the inspection offline, complete the inspection questionnaire, record findings, and attach photos directly to each finding as evidence. Once an internet connection becomes available, the inspector can securely sync the data, ensuring all information is transmitted back to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
To ensure proper functionality, the following conditions must be met:

The inspector must be an authenticated Business Central user.

The inspection must already exist in Business Central.

The inspector must be explicitly assigned to that inspection within Business Central.
Inspector Offline communicates exclusively with Business Central and has no integration or connection with the VesselClient application.
